Getting the car out of china was not that easy than we thought. Bernhard had to tow the car out of china and to the next city in lao which was 50km away from the boarder. But 50 km on lao roads are not comparable with 50 km on european roads, so of course we had a burst tire and needed to change the tire. I had to fly from china to luang prabang and take a "nice" busride of 9 hours with much more people in the bus than intended. And it was especially nice cause it was a little bumpy, curvy road what caused some stomach problems to some people in the bus and a little girl vomitted in the bus. Nice smell, nice travel. But as soon we both arrived in Luang Namtha we recognized: Everything is better in lao! People are friendly, food is delicious, everything is easy and uncomplicated. So for some days we tried to forget the whole troubles with our car and did a kayak and trekking tour in the jungle of lao. It was an amazing experience although we met some nice spiders and fell off the kayak twice. So one thing for sure kayaking is not made for us, cause I think we hit almost every stone that crossed our way, so we could be lucky that we "only" fell twice 😂.
We also did a nice scooter trip to muang sing to visit some local villages. One of our friends had an accident there so we also visited a hospital in the little village. Another day we did a trip to some caves, which was pretty amazing cause we went approximately 1km alone in the cave with just having our headtorches with us.
