Back on the water

After the first hotel was a flop, I moved. On the day of arrival I booked something new for the next day. In the city. At the marina. And with a rooftop pool. It was the right decision. The room is great, a fantastic breakfast buffet awaits me in the morning, and after a walk through the marina I go to the pool. So it was time to relax.
On May 13th I took a taxi to Lavrion to meet Karsten, the owner of the Eigen One. It was still in dry dock and was launched in the afternoon.
Once again, I was glad that this wasn't my property, that it was being lifted with the old crane. Karsten was completely calm.
Then there was still some work to be done. On May 14th Carlos from Berlin, a friend of Karsten, came on board.
Once everything has been taken care of, we set off on May 16th, about 30 nautical miles to Loutra on Kythnos.

The beer turns into wine, unfortunately it's tasty, two bottles are gone quickly. Unfortunately the wine is also very expensive at €45 per bottle.
The next destination is Syros, about 20 NM, a short trip. As the weather is unfortunately still not playing along, it was a good decision.
