Jakarta can best be compared to a perpetual road trip. The size of the city is so large that you can easily get lost in the sea of buildings. Distances are completely relative here. Fortunately, there are many different green oases scattered throughout the city.
After arriving in Jakarta, I met with Johannes, my boss, for the first time. He gave me an initial kick-off for my work in Indonesia.
Together with him, another expert in the wood industry, and the coordinator of IPD, we started our first company visit in the south of Jakarta on Monday, March 6th. After a 2.5-hour drive, we arrived there. In the afternoon, we flew to Yogyakarta.
In Yogyakarta, we immediately took a taxi to Magelang.
