A Northern Lights Comes to Visit
Well-rested, long breakfast, visited with the guest and then together went to the Old Port. The rain held off and there was nothing stopping the shopping tour. Carolinensiel has a small “downtown” with shops, cafes, two supermarkets, and bakeries.
At VICTORBUR, I was able to order butter cake (simple, with just almonds on top and super delicious!) for the day of departure. It had to be picked up by 10:30 am at the latest. We made it!
We simply took the cake for the coffee table and didn't regret a single piece.
Talked for a long time, then headed to the beach and harbor, visited the campsite and the anchor buoy from 1910, which today guests can stay in. To escape the rain clouds, we quickly went to WATTKIEKER to enjoy a delicious dinner (plaice fillet with fries).
The guest left without a rain shower and we brought out the game called PORT ROYAL again to enjoy a round of the game. The cloud cover drew closer together over our heads, while at the same time beautiful cloud formations emerged. In the distance, the rain showers were clearly visible in the sky.
So we set off to win another round. It didn't quite work out for me, but we had fun anyway.
