Phong Nha 19.11 - 21.11

We spent the nights in wooden huts. The accommodation was very nature-oriented.

So we were greeted by pigs, dogs, cats, and rabbits.

Everything was running freely. Only the pigs were constantly chased out of the kitchen 😆

All kinds of animals also found their way into our wooden huts. Unfortunately, there were also large spiders, but with our mosquito nets it was bearable 😅

We spent two days in the jungle.

We climbed mountains, crawled through caves, and swam. Only with a helmet and a headlamp.

In incredible heat and physical exertion.

In the caves, there were animals and spiders of a size I didn't even know existed.

There were moments when I wondered why I came up with this stupid idea, but I think these days are one of the highlights of this trip.

The movie Kong: Skull Island was filmed in this jungle in 2017.

By chance, we had seen the movie before our vacation, and yes, it really looks like that here.
