Travemünde

Great, calm crossing and punctual arrival in Travemünde... and thus ended the wonderful tour through the Baltics, Finland, and Sweden 😍.

We saw, experienced, laughed, searched, found so much again, always surprised and thrilled. Each of us had different favorites and highlights. Often we were exhausted and our feet were sore, but the next day we were always motivated, curious, and excited about the special features of the city, country, and people. Some places have remained on our bucket list, they impressed us so much that we want to come back again. In total, we covered just over 4300 km, of which 2500 km were abroad. 

Our conclusion:

A beautiful trip through wonderful countries.

Lithuania, Latvia, and Estonia are really not overcrowded yet and have a lot to offer in terms of scenery, culture, and also culinary delights.

The Scandinavians are incredibly friendly and helpful. The countries fascinated us and sparked a few new travel ideas. 

What we won't miss:

• cobblestoned old town streets (no comparison to what we know as cobblestone paving)
• construction sites and road closures without any detour signs (or as our GPS says: Please refer to the map 😡)
• two-lane roundabouts
