7th November - Christchurch

Today there is only one overwhelming photo. We left Akaroa this morning and arrived in Christchurch after about 90 minutes. We already returned the camper today. We drove almost 5000 km with it in the last four weeks. That was probably a bit too much. It should also be possible with less effort. If we ever come back here, we know what is worth seeing and what we can skip. We are happy to share this knowledge with anyone who is interested. Also how to travel New Zealand without a camper, well and affordably. Because we will never have a camping trailer in this life. Although we know quite a lot about the procedure now. But no, it is not our style to go on vacation like this. And we were lucky: all sanitary facilities were very clean. If they hadn't been, we would have given up much earlier. Okay, this chapter is over.

Now to our hotel in Christchurch; the positive first: it is located in the center, which still shows many traces of the earthquake in 2011. Many gaps are being rebuilt. The second positive: it only costs us 110 euros for both of us for two nights.
