Or the leaning tower... We started cycling around 10:30 am. There are several pedestrian crossings here, but unlike in Germany, no one stops here. You have to force it, which sometimes makes Mom sweat a lot. We take the obligatory tourist tower photos and then look for a good gelato place. We find one in a side street and there is also good and cheap coffee. Since we are cycling, we can see about half of the city. Many small streets, shopping mile. Typical Italian... Unfortunately, the heat is unbearable. Around 1 pm, Jule starts to complain. We drive back to the campsite and make food and take a nap. The plan was to climb the leaning tower again, but according to Google, it is only possible from 8 years old. Then it starts to rain. Good to cool down in the caravan. In the evening, we decide to look for a supermarket. Since it's a bit outside, we drive by car. Quite a strange area and compared to the store, our Assi-netto is almost like a luxury Karstadt. Dad is afraid for his car, so we forget half of the things and quickly drive back.
We are a bit spoiled from the last place. There is not so much here unfortunately. The pool was canceled because of the compulsory swimming caps. No evening shows, no other children. Only Dutch retirees in a motorhome.
In two days, we will continue towards Rome.
