Day 26 - Auckland, City of Sails

We are heading to the largest city in New Zealand: Auckland, also called the City of Sails.

But first, I am going to bypass the city and drive to Piha on the west coast. The place is known for Lion Rock and the waves that attract surfers.

Next, I will visit the Kitekite Falls and then head to Bethells Beach. I have to say, I was expecting a bit more from this place.

After that, I will drive to Devonport, a suburb of Auckland, where I will spend the last two nights of this New Zealand tour.

I will hike up Mount Victoria, as it offers a great view of the city; a fantastic panorama.

Then, I will take the ferry across the bay to Auckland City to do some souvenir shopping.

Afterwards, I will check into my accommodation and take a quick trip to the water to catch the sunset. Just like yesterday, it will be a beautiful event.
