Signaghi and the Bodbe Monastery

In Georgia there is supposed to be wine. Well then it's time to find it - Signaghi is a quite suitable place for that and is worth a visit even without wine. For us it was a journey through the very hilly city and on the way to a restaurant where we were almost alone late in the evening. On the culinary discovery tour there is - soda, which really doesn't taste good. Pelmeni and Co. The best view is, of course, on a mountain just outside the city and best enjoyed lying in a hammock! This seems to be a Georgian thing, that you can also stand with your motorhome on the parking lots or on the meadow behind the house and at the same time enjoy the delicacies from the attached restaurant.

On the way to the holy water spring we passed by the Bodbe Monastery. In the holy and also very cold water you dive under 3 times and then you are free from all complaints.
