Dress rehearsal 13.4.

Over the Easter holidays, we met with the Bartels family at the campsite on the Wremer Tief.

We had planned to get to know the motorhome better and test everything out for the weekend.

After we tackled the first small obstacle (exhaust fell off), we were able to head towards Bremerhaven on Thursday evening. Per slept through the entire journey, so Mom and Dad had a great start to the weekend. Thursday evening, we parked at a pitch in Bremerhaven and spent the first night there. Per loved being in the alcove, as he could watch everything outside from the bed. The next morning, we went to the campsite in Wremen, where we were right by the North Sea and could watch the large container ships. When Jelto was in the shower on Friday evening, the fresh water pump broke, and he managed to rinse off the last lather with a small trickle of water. However, we solved the problem right away on Saturday, and Jelto bought and installed a new pump. Due to the stormy weather, we made ourselves comfortable in our motorhome. When the sun was shining, we had a barbecue and went to the neighboring playground with the Bartels. Per did great and could sleep wonderfully in his bike trailer when we were on the go.
