From Hannoversch Münden to Schwalmstadt

First, a short update from yesterday: We couldn't resist visiting the birthplace of the Weser. It wasn't very far from our hotel in the old town of Hannoversch Münden. Where Werra and Fulda kiss...

Today, we rode along the Fulda and later the Eder for quite a distance. As always on river cycle paths, there were hardly any inclines to overcome. That changed later on. We only briefly passed through Kassel. From there, the route took us through Homberg/Efze (which I only knew as a highway exit) and then to Schwalmstadt, after abandoning Frielendorf as our originally planned destination due to lack of accommodation. Our hotel leaves a very good impression and has a beer garden. What more could we want?

By the way, the weather is the same - warm, humid, a light wind from the south to west (mostly headwind), and so far, the expected rain has completely stayed away. Let's hope it stays that way.
