Hiking through the Rosengarten in South Tyrol // Day 3 // Farewell sunrise and summit climbing

What? Already over? Today it's already time to hike back down into the valley. But not without taking in the summit right in front of the Schlernhaus and climbing it before breakfast! As a reward for getting up early, we also get to witness the sunrise. Then we shoulder our backpacks and start walking. It's foggy. And hiking downhill is somehow exhausting. Okay, you also complain the whole time when hiking uphill, but going down is still worse. I feel sorry, especially for all the people coming towards us from the valley. If they only knew what they still have ahead of them! Back in Bolzano, we check into our accommodation, a pretty villa close to the center. And then it's time to rest until the next day when the train back home departs: Rest! Eat! Shower! Sleep! Luxury! It was beautiful :-).
