Ötztaler Urweg Stage 6 from Obergurgl to Zwieselstein

Today we started from the starting point Obergurgl and first went around the village on the Zirbenwanderweg before heading into the so-called 'Wand' on the Urweg. Over narrow paths, scree, and snow fields, we climbed high to the lake plateau for several hours. It was a truly high alpine tour that accompanied us throughout the day. Once we reached the plateau, we descended for hours in the same manner. It was a really tough and intense tour that demanded everything from us. It was truly a king's stage that surpassed all previous tours, with 22.21 km, an ascent of 1,255m, and a descent of 1,605m. Let's see, tomorrow it's supposed to be the Gaislachkogel.
