We drove from Cardigan to Aberporth for laundry day, and it started raining again.
Just 100m after the laundry, we found a roadside parking spot. With a meadow in front and a view of the small beach and harbor.
It's pouring rain as we head to a place called Cwmtydu
By the way, it's pronounced 'gwimmtiddie'
In the rain, with really fresh wind, we arrive at the 'beach promenade'.
What do we find there at the wind-swept end? A couple, both around 60, who just came out of the water and are changing in the car without a care. They wave friendly as we arrive.
Of course, I spoke to the Welsh couple and explained to them the difference between Germans and Welsh in this weather.
Germans need a rain jacket and Welsh people need swimming trunks
Nice people, the Welsh, their laughter could still be heard in the town.
