Farm work, hostel, West Coast...

Birt: 05.05.2018

Before we start: Unfortunately, the pictures are not sorted chronologically, so don't be surprised if you find some farm work pictures between the road trip pictures! 😀

...It's been almost 6 months in Australia. Hard to believe, but our adventure is coming to an end! In a week and a half, we're heading back to Germany!

In the past few months, we've experienced a lot! We spent a whole month in a small town called Manjimup, working on an apple farm and staying in a hostel. The work was physically demanding and the farmers weren't really the nicest. But if you worked hard, you earned good money and made great new friends from Holland, England, Italy, France, and Japan at the hostel!

After earning some more money, we continued our journey. But first, we had to do some repairs on the car to transfer the car registration to Western Australia and get the vehicle inspection done. That was important for us because we wanted to sell the car properly. Once everything was done, we finally set off towards the north. We visited incredibly beautiful beaches and national parks, capturing them in countless photos! We had temperatures of up to 40 degrees Celsius during the day, which were barely bearable even in the car at night. But it didn't matter, the landscapes were definitely worth it! Overall, we covered nearly 17,000 km with our car. Our absolute highlight was Karijini National Park, where most of the photos were probably taken.😀

Back in Perth, we took care of selling the car. We planned 4 weeks for it, but in the end, we only needed 2 days😅 We were really lucky. Two German girls bought the car with all the equipment and were able to start their own adventure right away. It's hard to believe that we've already finished everything.

Currently, we're living in a house in Perth that we found through house sitting. Essentially, we take care of the house/dog while the owners are on vacation/traveling. It suits us perfectly because we get to live for free. 😊

It's already late autumn here, and we have temperatures between 20 and 28 degrees Celsius. So it's still very bearable. 😀

The return flight is booked, and on May 17th, we're heading back. We're really looking forward to being home and telling you all about our amazing experiences 😊
