Day 2 - Arrival in Milngavie

Today we left Glasgow again. We took the train to Milngavie. The journey took half an hour. Milngavie is a suburb of Glasgow. From there, our first of a total of eight stages on the West Highland Way will start tomorrow. Let's see if we can cover the approximately 154 km.

We also found our accommodation today without any problems. When we arrived, there were some communication problems. The lady at the reception spoke so quickly and much that we didn't understand what she wanted. After a short back and forth, we finally understood that our room was ready but not yet paid for. She had to call the organizer again. We went to have a beer in the adjacent restaurant and after half an hour everything was clarified. We were able to move into our room.
