1st Day - Arrival at LAX

After 12 hours of flight and 3 movies, 4 poker rounds, 5 Mahjong battles, and 2 hours of sleep, we finally landed - Los Angeles, the 'City of Angels'.

Well, initially we spent half an hour on the tarmac - the gate was blocked. Then it felt like we flew around the airport with the plane

Finally, when we arrived at the gate, the terrible immigration procedure awaited us! It took us almost 2 hours... it was really exhausting, but the prospect of the upcoming 3 weeks ahead made us endure all of this.

After finally being able to retrieve our luggage and being outside, we were ready to go - or so we thought. But first, we waited for the bus to the car rental company Alamo. However, the bus arrived quickly and we were helped to lift the 6 suitcases into the bus. I can really recommend this!

After exchanging the voucher for the contract, we could go to the ChoiceLane. Here, you can choose a car of your choice! The employee initially gave us the key to an old Ford Expedition. However, we had already set our sights on a Chevrolet Tahoe - which we eventually got after asking again.
