Continued journey to Krabi
Today the weather in Bangkok is pretty bad, so we decide to go straight to the airport after a late breakfast.
The plane takes off on time....no problem in Thailand.
Elderly people with rubber socks on the plane....the flight attendant looks a bit perplexed🤪
Since we have read in some travel blogs that it can be difficult to get a boat at Ao Nang Pier in the off-season evenings and you may have to wait for 2 hours, we decided this morning to book the hotel transfer. It works perfectly. We are picked up at the airport with a luxury van and taken to Ao Nang Pier. Unfortunately, it is already pitch dark.
Here we board a longtail boat and are driven to Railay East in the dark.
At the pier, a golf cart is waiting for us, which takes us and a couple from Portugal, who were already on our plane, to the hotel.
The room is huge.
And it's only a few meters to the beach.
Totally lonely and quiet here...so we thought. A few meters away is the entertainment street for day tourists😄
Still super beautiful here. After a beer on the beach, wine is too expensive here (the cheapest bottle is 25€), we fall asleep tired as always.
By the way..... Carlo passed the entrance exam at the Cologne Sports University.....the proud mother still has to report👍🏋️♀️🏃🏻♀️🤸♂️🤾🏽♀️💪🏻😄
