On Tuesday we slept in and cleared out our Toni. After 6 weeks, a lot of things accumulate and you find some things again. Like Santa Claus, we gave unused supplies to other campers. Then we folded up the tent for the last time and drove with Toni towards Apollo. With a touch of nostalgia but proud that Toni survived all the kilometers and adventurous routes, we handed over the keys. So to speak, we went 'homeless' to the city of Perth.
We were amazed and impressed at the same time by how much the city has invested in the last 4 years. Some construction sites and cranes give an idea of what will be created in the near future.
In the following days, we enjoyed the city in different ways. For example, we went on foot to Kings Park / Botanic Garden and spent time there. In the newly built 'Revely' (restaurant), we redeemed Jacqueline's farewell voucher and had a great time.
Once in Perth, an extended Swan River cruise tour with wine tasting is a must. A great day with a boat trip, delicious lunch, and great wines will remain in our memory.
Now we are enjoying the advantages of the city at 25 degrees before heading to Tasmania tomorrow.
