Tag 60 - Nürburgring

Hi guys!

As you already found out yesterday, today we are at the Nürburgring. It's... Loud, dirty, cold, and full of people...

Nah, just kidding ;)

Shortly after eight o'clock, we were awakened by a loud rrrroooaaarrrr. The sun was already shining outside and with a smile on our faces, our day began. We immediately grabbed our chairs and sat outside. Since we stayed here overnight, we managed to get a great spot in the front row :)).

Until 11 a.m., we watched the action on the racetrack with anticipation and enjoyed the car-seeing. Then... we got to know our neighbors. At first, they were really nice, brought us a couple of beers, and we chatted a bit. But as their alcohol level rose, they became more and more annoying... They took turns to talk our ears off...

Good-hearted people who praised our sabbatical year in the highest tones and celebrated us. Just a little clingy... When we needed a break from them, we took our camera and walked a little bit along the track. After a while, we realized that we had two options: stay here and keep drinking - because it would have been unbearable sober, especially in the evening - or drive a little further and look for a new spot. We opted for the second option. There was a cute lake nearby, but since it's a holiday, every parking space there costs a lot of money. That's why a forest parking lot won - for now. Since there was absolutely no reception there and the place wasn't nice enough, we drove for about 10 more minutes. Now we're finally standing: at the edge of the forest, right next to a field with a beautiful view. Even without reception, it was worth driving further :).

Now we're still figuring out where to go tomorrow and we're having a nice evening.
