Where is the way?

It was hot all day today. Already in the steep ascent, we were grateful for every gust of wind. At first, we made good progress, so our hope for a free afternoon was still very high. But we didn't know what awaited us. Because the last third of our tour today became torture. We had to ask ourselves several times if we were still on the hiking trail or if we had become jungle hikers. With a bit of luck, we made it from signpost to signpost, and the best feeling was always discovering a trail marker. The expected 4.5 hours soon turned into 5.5 hours, and the distance and elevation information on the website should be revised. After 19km and over 1000 meters of elevation, Vera managed to kiss the roadside ditch in the last five minutes. So we stumbled into our premium BnB and visited the sweet village shop. Unlike Manfred, we had real sweats when the wind and shade let us down. Manfred enjoyed the adventure and the view. He even got to fly with Anna and didn't feel any of our tiredness. At a grandiose 9pm, Anna noticed that she no longer had any non-sweat-drenched clothes and started to wash. Who knows if these clothes will ever dry. Apart from the fact that they have to be worn tomorrow.

Summary of the day: Vera's snake paranoia is strongly present when there's rustling in the grass next to the paths! We immediately change sides of the road to protect ourselves from deadly attacks. Shade and COLD wind are also life-saving! Without these two nice helpers, it feels like being in the oven on top/bottom heat.
