Today we were tested by whoever. If there was a scale from 0-10, with 10 being wonderful and 0 being shitty, I would give today a 1-2, it could have rained after all. We had wind from the northwest all day and that was exactly our direction. The route was rather sparse with towns and we did a lot of riding on the road. The reward for today is the beautiful accommodation. I would move in here. Tomorrow the wind will come from the northwest again, but we are already preparing for it with our motto: It doesn't help, we have to go through it. It is already the fourth European country, Germany, Switzerland, France, and Holland.

In Germany, we continued along the Rhine. This now branches into several arms. In between, I wanted to leave the route we had planned on our maps and ride 'across' again. However, I had forgotten about it. That's why it's over 70 km again today.
