Tandem tour Day 04

Petra:

Today was a very sunny day with cold wind. In the first ten kilometers, there were three insane climbs, but since we are capable of learning, we pushed the tandem partially. This made us realize that the odometer does not calculate the actual travel time for speeds below 3 km/h. So, the travel time I felt on the previous routes was already correct. We are at the Danube River, shortened the route by 30 km, and don't feel guilty about it. We had a picnic today in a beautiful park in Dillingen with Kneipp therapy. Our overnight stay is at a guesthouse and we hope for a good night's sleep. Our bathroom smells like schnitzel, but it could be worse. Luckily, the hot kitchen is open until 9:00 PM.

I can't share the hope for a peaceful night. We are sleeping right next to Bundesstraße 10 and directly above the dining area!
