Fisher village Paracas, when we left Lima we decided to stay in a somewhat remote Airbnb, which was a good decision! I don't know if any of you will ever be near here, but if so, you definitely have to go to 'Paracas Camp', pure relaxation and absolutely nice guys, Diego and his colleague are incredible, they drove us around as we wanted, planned all activities, and gave us an unforgettable experience with the tour through Paracas National Park. Rescuing a large seal on the beach was probably more by chance than planned, but the rest was amazing, across the desert, up and down, from beach to huge cliffs to the highlight 'Red Beach', a beach with yellow cliffs in the background and deep red sand, everything was included and a day I won't forget so quickly! Before that, we had already done a boat tour to the 'Islas Ballestas', also known as the little 'galapagos', there were also seals, penguins, and what felt like 2 million birds to see, but the absolute highlight was meeting a large seal live somewhere in the middle of nowhere on a completely deserted beach, unbelievable! Also not to be underestimated was the national dish Ceviche (raw fish cooked in lime juice) directly at the harbor, the billiards/kicker evening or the delicious BBQ with Diego, where even just shopping for and preparing the ingredients was a highlight! All in all, three very beautiful days, next time I'll check in from Ica, located right in the middle of the desert :-) until then...
