36th day, from Vias to Montpellier

Actually, today's day is similar to yesterday's. We drove through the lagoon landscape again, partly signposted as nature reserves. So today I will tell you something about the lagoons. They are quite shallow, and windsurfers could stand next to their boards. There are some oyster farms, and in one port, there were many restaurants that mainly serve oysters. When we passed by, everything was occupied by slurping (oysters and white wine) French gourmets.🦪 We have considered it, but none of us really like eating them. The locals also go into the shallow water with nets and buckets and collect crabs. You can see more gourmets in the daily picture, many flamingos, searching for crabs and crayfish.

Today, too, we spent a lot of time on the EV8. After 15 km, we washed our clothes in the laundromat and didn't make any progress until noon. Total of 73 km, all flat.
