Wanaka, referred to as the little sister of Queenstown. As the New Zealanders like to say, 'Sweet!'
Another sunny day. We take advantage of it and rent mountain bikes to explore the trails in the forest.
Don't have high expectations for rental bikes. The seat post was not adjustable and the brakes are reversed 😵 Kiwi Style: Now not only driving on the left is required, but also the rear brake on the left. Fortunately, we manage it without any injuries.
The trails, however, are amazing. It's really nice to cycle in countries where mountain biking is popular/accepted. Cyclists and hikers don't cross paths and there are beautiful trails for all difficulty levels.
The views are fantastic!
Two paths were closed as rabbit poison was spread here. We had almost forgotten that the cute wild rabbits are a plague here, as they are one of the animals that came with the settlers and have no natural enemies.
After 4 hours of cycling, we sit in the sun for a while and enjoy super healthy and delicious food. What a wonderful T-shirt weather.
