Gien – Back in the Loire Valley

After the morning shopping on the farm (walnuts and chestnut blossom honey), the journey continued north. We made a stopover in Limoges, I would stop by next time... but it's not a bad idea to stretch your feet every now and then.

We continued to a campsite in Gien, located on the Loire. We spent a few days just a few kilometers from here about 2.5 months ago. There wasn't that much to discover in Gien itself, but the salad with hot goat cheese on honey bread on the banks of the Loire was definitely worth a stop.
