Atlantic coast - Sun in Carcans - October 2nd

The next day we wake up early and realize that the toilets are already closed...Damn...that means changing our biorhythm, anyone who sleeps in parking lots and can't find a toilet the next day...knows what I mean! But everything works out and we drive towards Carcans via Montalivet. On the way, we make a short stop in Pin Sec, before finding a nice spot in a beautiful pine forest at Carcans-Plages. It is still open for exactly four more days and we decide to stay for two of them. After a relaxing shower, we take a walk through the village, most places are closed as the summer season is over and hardly anyone stays here after the season! We walk through the beautiful pine forests and enjoy the sun and the mild temperatures of about 20 degrees Celsius. In the evening, we have the remaining cheese, salami, and baguette, then it gets pitch dark, even though the clock shows only 8 pm! Off to bed with a book and good night!

The sun wakes me up early, and I take a walk with the dog to the beach, watching the waves and the good-looking surfers. Afterwards, Jörni welcomes me with fresh coffee outside the bus, hooray! I take advantage of the opportunity and wash two loads of laundry, the Pippibus is clean and tidy again, blankets, carpet, and towels, everything is clean! I can't believe how nice it is! We do some tinkering and optimize a few things here and there, then the cordless screwdriver goes back in the box and we are satisfied. I use the time to read and simply enjoy sitting in the sun. Not much else happens...reading...sitting...noticing multiple times how nice it is...sitting...dark...sleep! Bueno!

The next day, we continue heading south...!
