Day 44 - Full Stop and Comma.

Birt: 08.02.2023

08.02.23

Today starts like every other day with waking up. But today's course of events is different than expected. That's why this report comes without any punctuation marks. Sarah might be able to use the text for her students, once she goes through the rules of full stop and comma.

But back to the present: We get up and realize that we're not hungry. So it's not worth having breakfast right now. Therefore, we leave the campsite and continue until we reach Ballina. The search for a parking space is rather difficult because all spots are marked with a maximum of 6 meters. Vicky is 7 meters long, too long. But we don't give up and find a spot eventually. We explore Ballina City on foot and sit at Green Coast Coffee. Hmmmmm. The day starts with caffeine and we define the next goals. Finally, we continue driving and stop at Sharpe's Beach for lunch, umm, I mean brunch.

The highlight of today is Byron Bay. The trendy town in the middle of countless trees is simply great and captivates us. So we head to a campsite and immediately get a great spot, certainly the most expensive campsite so far, but in a great location and cool environment. Here, too, we explore on foot and walk randomly through BB until we actually reach the Bay. We like it so much that Marco goes back to the office and extends our stay by 1 day until the day after tomorrow.

A short hunger break leads Marco to go to a shop to buy some chips. Apparently, lunch wasn't enough. So we bridge the time until dinner, which will be ready at 8 pm. A digestion walk rounds off the day without breakfast, with lunch, and with two nights in the same place. Let's have a shower and go to bed.
