Today we slept quite well. The rooster only crowed once, and that was in the middle of the night. But we skillfully ignored him, and eventually he gave up.
After a hearty breakfast in the sun, with boiled eggs, ham, cheese, and other delicious things, we spent the morning tidying up the camper, reading, and enjoying the campsite. Chrissi has developed a new language, Italenglish, a mixture of Italian, English, hands, and feet. But at least we get bread rolls for breakfast and even get the washing machine to work. We skillfully wrap our jumper with the clothesline. We have already accumulated a few laundry items.
After a small lunch snack, we stroll to the bar to upload our holiday blog using the WLAN. At first, we can't find the WLAN, but instead we find a foosball table where Basti almost had to accept his first defeat against Chrissi. But luckily, it was only almost, the game ends 8:10 in Basti's favor. So peace is maintained and soon the WLAN password is found.
After the successful blog upload, Chrissi wants to go to the sea for a swim. The weather has become quite cloudy by now, and Basti has his concerns. As does the weather forecast. And every reasonable person. But to keep Chrissi quiet, the bathing backpack is packed. When "we" finally want to leave, it starts to drizzle, just great. Basti looks at Chrissi, who gets a little grumpy for a moment and gives up. Everything is unpacked again and we retreat into the camper. Maybe the weather will improve again. After an hour of reading to pass the time, the clouds clear up and it becomes wonderfully warm again.
So we start a little late with our bikes to the beach. It's wonderful there. A gentle breeze makes it pleasant for us to stay at the beach. We have delicious ice cream, of course we also went into the water, and Chrissi got hit in the back by a football from a few young Italians, but no big deal. We have finally arrived on our beach vacation.
