Porteau Cove Provincial Park

The campgrounds run by BC Parks are usually rather simple in terms of facilities, but are always located in the most beautiful corners of British Columbia: on lakes, rivers, in the forest, near waterfalls...

The small RV park in Porteau Cove Provincial Park is one of the most popular and therefore quickest campgrounds. On the one hand the proximity to Vancouver, but on the other hand the absolutely fantastic location directly on Howe Sound.

And even though the railway line is right next to it, the "Rocky Mountaineer" only honked at us once...
