Arrived :) What a beautiful city in an even more beautiful nature!!!
My host family welcomed me so warmly, it didn't take an hour and we started making jokes. There was homemade pizza with butternut squash - a dream. Right now it smells like homemade risotto and chicken Hmmm Yummi.
This morning I did yoga at the Cleveland Dam and then went straight to Downtown. Here I immediately adapted to the people of Vancouver and wandered through the city with a green delight shake, to the north, south, west, east, until I reached Kitsilano beach. The sun was burning, I would have loved to go swimming. Unfortunately, I didn't have anything with me, but next time for sure and then in the great freshwater pool right by the sea with a view of the city and the mountains!! To my swimming crew: I will think of you :)
Arrived, yes, today I can definitely claim that. Not only with my host family, but also so many Vancouver people just approached me on the street today, they told me their story, gave me tips, wished me a nice day, it was really touching. I also saw 2 seals :)
I'm excited to see how the time here goes on :) Starting tomorrow, the language course will begin, so my posts will probably be a bit more sporadic ;)
