Bolsena

On the next day, we continue at the same leisurely pace - the overall average fuel consumption is already below 10 liters. We'll see where we end up in the end.

Our second stop is Bolsena, at the lake of the same name. This is where my freshly acquired Italian skills are used for the first time, as the campsite owner does not speak German or English. Well, the conversation was short and bumpy. But she understood me! :-D

Because the weather is so nice, we'll stay here for two days. We could have gone stand-up paddling, but the water is a bit cold. So we limit ourselves to a stroll through the bustling town. It's actually an Italian holiday. We didn't even have it on our radar! But we decided not to capture the hustle and bustle in pictures. It looks exactly like on Ascension Day at Lake Phoenix.
