Genfersee Stage 17 Yverdon 13.2 Km (380.4 Km)

Highlight of the day: This stage was much more varied than I initially thought.

Already on the train journey from Yverdon to Bavois, I saw how flat this area is and how a path always follows the railway line.

And that's exactly how it started. So I thought that today I had to pay attention to details when taking photos, because the rest seemed to be similar everywhere. That's why some photos were taken that could have been taken in many places. I hope you like them as well. Personally, I like the two root pictures in front of the bright sky the best. What are your favorites?

The GPS then gave me the option to go over a hill. Where I usually try to make as little altitude difference as possible, that was a welcome gift for today. So there were suddenly photos that show something of nature.

A few times I passed under a highway. There too, photos were taken from rather unusual perspectives. I also made a video. However, it was more about the sound than the image. Since I can't insert videos here at Vakantio, I'll send it to you on WhatsApp if you are a member of this group.

Pay attention to the sky in the landscape photos as well. I think that the different cloud pictures have created a high level of dynamics and drama.

Especially due to the extra effort yesterday, I had a short stage today. But that doesn't matter, the goal of Yverdon has been reached!
