09.12.2019 Roys Peak

The famous Roy's Peak.

Perfect weather, clear sky, our alarm clock rings at 4:30 in the morning.

Today, on 09.12., we hiked to Roy's Peak. It is also exactly 10 years and 10 months that we have been together :-).

The entire trail is 16 km round trip, with 8 km one way steep uphill.

The hiking trail was really tough with this constant incline, but it was totally worth it during the hike!

At the top, you could really feel that it was only 2 degrees with icy air.

Normally, people queue up and wait for at least 30 minutes for the photos that we were able to take.

Since we started so early, we not only avoided the scorching sun, but also the crowd that was coming down during our descent.

At the top, we even called our parents with a video chat to surprise them :-)
