10. Tag Bocas del Toro - Bluff Beach 07.02.2023

After waking up, I went back to my spot on the terrace with a coffee from the bar and enjoyed the sound of the sea and the view. But today it was raining a little and we decided to have a rest day at the hotel. The breakfast was good and plentiful, just like the day before. Then I went to the hammock to read. After about half an hour, a capuchin monkey jumped around next to my hammock on a tree trunk and wanted to get to a fruit. When it saw me, it got scared and jumped back. At noon, we went to the beach, the sun was shining again. While swimming, we tried to reach the waves, but couldn't make it. The water was wonderfully warm. Then we had a lunch on the beach and continued reading and splashing. In the late afternoon, I went back to the hammock with a cocktail. While we were reading, the owner of the hotel called us and said he saw a sloth. And indeed, about 50 meters away from the restaurant, there was a sloth hanging in a tree and climbing quickly from branch to branch. The owner explained that the sloth really likes the leaves of this tree, and we watched it while it was eating. Cute.

Then it was time for dinner again, very delicious with appetizer, main course, and a delicious cake as a dessert that we shared. In the evening, we enjoyed another cocktail or beer on the terrace.
