June 2017 Exmouth & Coral Bay

The following posts will contain many pictures as a lot of time has passed... I have to admit that I was really lazy and always planned to write a post for the next day... but then I totally forgot... but now everything is being caught up and there are beautiful pictures from Australia 😊.

The Ningaloo Reef is one of our personal highlights in Australia. You feel like you're swimming in an aquarium. Lots of fish, turtles, a fantastic underwater world. We didn't mind spending hours in the water despite the water temperatures (the Australian winter was slightly noticeable) 😅. Many people were already wearing wetsuits for swimming (suits against cold and stingrays), but we managed without them.

We really enjoyed our stay here. We went on a snorkeling trip where we could swim with manta rays, unfortunately, they were relatively deep, so the pictures didn't turn out well, but we saw some 😊. During the boat ride, we also saw humpback whales 🐋 😍. It was simply fantastic! Of course, numerous pictures were taken 😅.

Of course, our car 🚗 also caused some problems here, as always 😂. The shock absorbers were completely broken after all the gravel roads and had already lost oil. In this area (as lucky as we always are), there were exactly 2 workshops, you can probably imagine 💸💸💸.

In Exmouth, there is the opportunity to swim with whale sharks, but it is really really expensive. Over 400 euros per person 😳. That was no longer in the budget! But since we are visiting other beautiful countries where this opportunity exists, we have postponed this experience 😊.
