That's why we ask in the morning about the opening times of the local swimming pool.
Of course, the morning walk cannot be canceled. And it's not raining yet. The 5km lap around the house is still on the todo anyway. So let's go 🤗
The broken road is magically repaired today and the parked cactus is now in the parking lot down in the village 😂.
Our hiking tour led past a small forest kindergarten. The path is peppered with small, cute works of art and is overall very colorful.
One of the works of art particularly appealed to us. Just crazy 🥰
As on every hiking route here in Sweden, we found a small hut with a good view.
Shortly before the summit of the tour, we unfortunately followed the wrong sign. The ground suddenly became very muddy and musty. Luckily, after a short search, we found the right path again. With completely soaked shoes we head downhill again. It's supposed to start raining in about an hour.
The clouds still look pretty good so far. So we postpone the swimming pool until a real rainy day. Unfortunately, our relatively expensive food purchases are already coming to an end. Luckily Ian does the shopping for us 🥰. My social battery is still in charging mode 😅😂.
While Arya is already pretty exhausted, Jive still has a lot of energy.
Since Jive happily waits for us to finally start jogging every time we start the Komood app, we'll just do it (she's conditioned to the "Let's go" voice from her cell phone).
Powered by the Raptor engine, we first head downhill into the forest. It's not that easy to slow down the little power raptor so that we don't tumble down 🤭. I actually wanted to do a much smaller round. But to our left the familiar markings of the Fjällmarathon suddenly lead up the mountain. A short detour certainly can't hurt.
The small planned tour then turned into a larger tour.
It was very muddy and tiring but incredibly beautiful and simply breathtaking.
In the middle of the run, after about 8km, the promised rain shower 😅 comes along to cool us down. Soaking wet, we continue across the river and up the mountain.
Jive really pushed the entire route. Let's see if she's a little tired tomorrow.
In the middle of the mountain we find a forgotten aid station from the marathon. Even the canisters are still filled.
After 12km we finally reach a familiar point so we can take the route back.
And back to the forest
We walk downhill at a slow pace. Anything else would have been life-threatening on the uneven, slippery ground 😅.
After 17km we arrive back at the accommodation. Tomorrow is really a couch day 😂
