After the guests left our housesitting job after a week, we had a few more days of peace. Some days were even so hot that I had to apply sunscreen. However, the last two days became unpleasant again and it even snowed, so the mountains around us were covered in snow. It was great to see, but also very cold! Overall, it was a good experience. We managed to overcome our fear of horses, with which we went for a walk every few days. But we were also glad to be able to leave without really knowing where to go. Most of the time, we simply chose places that were currently the warmest according to the weather forecast, so we traveled along the south coast again. We used most of the time, besides the daily elaborate meals and cleaning the car, to train the dogs and socialize Alma. For example, we went out among people, rode escalators, visited skate parks, walked on various surfaces... Unfortunately, we were not allowed to take them on the bus here, so this new experience will have to wait. Then we met with a type of dog trainer who used to work a lot with police dogs. This was mainly for Naomi, and actually he was able to touch her in no time. She has never trusted a man so quickly before! Of course, she was initially very fearful, but he was able to overcome the fear despite his very offensive manner. Most of his tips were not new to us, but we did learn a thing or two, and it was a great experience for Naomi. Now we have been at a beautiful lonely reservoir near Malaga for a few days. We don't have a new workaway job in sight, but we haven't really been looking either because we still enjoy the freedom of being able to decide every morning what we want to do and where we want to go :-)
