Review: Canary Islands & Madeira with AIDAstella 2019

At Easter 2019, I had the opportunity to explore the Canary Islands and Madeira with AIDAstella. Our route started in Gran Canaria and took us through the Canary Islands and Madeira as follows:

Gran Canaria - Madeira - Lanzarote - La Palma - Tenerife - Gran Canaria.

In Madeira, we could admire picturesque views, many plants, and the old town. There was also a wine tasting on the island. I can only recommend trying 'Poncha' in Madeira.

Next, we visited Lanzarote. It was completely different. Lots of volcanic rock, little greenery. A camel ride through the Fire Mountains of Lanzarote was included in the excursion program.

Then we went back to the greenery on La Palma. One of the greenest Canary Islands. We had a bike tour passing by the highlights of the island.

Lastly, we visited Tenerife. Tenerife, like Lanzarote, is an island of volcanic rock. Here, we could enjoy great views from high mountains and see over a cloud through a random weather phenomenon.

It was a beautiful tour, and now it's time to say goodbye to AIDA after 7 days!
