Wow, Morocco 😉 never ceases to surprise me. The tour today through the Ait-Mansour gorge was absolutely soothing for the eyes. First, we meandered from Tafraout with magnificent views of the Adrar Mqorn. Spectacular mountain landscapes open up again and again. After about 30km, we reach the Ait-Mansour palm grove, which is surrounded by high reddish-brown cliffs. Date palms, olives, figs, and oleanders thrive in the oases along the river valley. It's simply beautiful there. The villages make a well-maintained impression. There is a lot of ups and downs, hardly any traffic. I am really surprised by what Morocco has to offer. Finding a parking space was no problem today. The terrain is absolutely extensive. Today we met a cyclist as we were coming down from a mountain. When I asked him: Do you need water? He replied, no, he had enough in German and grinned. I knew what lay ahead of him. But he made a relaxed mental impression. The journey is the destination. He has been on the road since November. Started in Biarritz. Nice encounter. Then I gave him 3 delicious coconut macaroons. He'll burn through them quickly.
