every house has its own story. Some freely tell it, others are more reserved. The hostel in Piura is quite talkative and tells me about the good times it has experienced. Its owner earned a good income, wanted a large family, and decided to build a big house in a quiet and somewhat upscale neighborhood in Piura. The house was filled with many children in every room. As they grew up and eventually left the house, the father and mother didn't want to live there alone. They bequeathed it to their son who stayed at home - let's call him Vincent. However, Vincent had to buy out his numerous siblings and take out a loan from the bank for that. It wasn't a problem because the value of the house and the land had significantly increased in the meantime.
