Lady Musgrave Island

Early in the morning, the "Main Event" sets off towards Lady Musgrave Island. After more than 2 hours of travel, we arrive at our destination. We are given our wetsuits, ABC equipment, and initial instructions before we receive our breathing apparatus and jacket. For the first dive, we are the only ones and therefore have the entire reef to ourselves, apart from our guide. After lunch, an Israeli couple joins us in the depths. The reef, or lagoon, looks like a crescent moon and stretches for several kilometers. Then it's time for us to get ready and take the motorboat to the dive site. We drop backwards into the 23°C warm, crystal-clear water. During our two dives, we see almost the entire cast of Finding Nemo. Clownfish (Nemo), surgeonfish (Dory), giant clams, turtles, various species of barracuda, angel fish, even a mantis shrimp, and many others.

We really had two beautiful dives, and in the end, we even went snorkeling again because we enjoyed it so much.
