We leave our spot after breakfast and quickly go to the warehouse to get some forgotten items. Today it is extremely windy and the drive is going to be incredibly challenging for Alex because our camper is not very wide, but quite high and therefore a huge target for the wind. Sweating, we take a break in a parking lot behind dunes. Theoretically, you could go for a nice walk here, but the wind is so strong that you get sand everywhere in no time. With squinted eyes and a drawn-in head, we take a short look at the sea and then escape back into the car. We continue to a playground with the enticing name "Middle Earth", which was put together by the residents themselves in a forest. The detour is definitely worth it. The forest looks very enchanting already, and when we arrive after a short walk, I get quite excited. There are abandoned jet skis hanging in the trees, there is a course made of tree trunks, old quads, and even a homemade cable car.

After thoroughly testing everything and being quite impressed by the creativity and motivation of the residents, we stroll through the "Fairy Garden", which is quite kitschy because there are garden gnomes and plastic figurines everywhere, but someone has also put a lot of effort into making others happy here. Because the forest is so beautiful (even though it feels a bit uneasy because there are quite a few branches lying around due to the wind), we hike parallel to the beach.

We walk back along the beach, where the wind is strong but absolutely bearable. There is an incredible amount of driftwood here, and if we were somewhere in Europe, the camper would already be fully loaded with shells, wood, grasses, and all the other beautiful things that I unfortunately have to leave here.

We continue to a campsite right on a river estuary and watch a few kite surfers on the beach making use of the wind even at relatively chilly 10 degrees. From the camper, we watch an incredibly beautiful sunset, and because the wind has worn us out quite a bit, we go to bed early.
