first wwoofing experiences

The first weeks with Philippe went by quite quickly. We mainly covered the new pizza oven with old tiles and extended the roof above it. We also made sure that there is always enough firewood at each guesthouse (including our own), as all the houses are equipped with stoves but without heating.

Our working hours here are always from Monday to Friday from 9:30 am to 12:00 pm and from 2:00 pm to 4:30 pm. Whoever is responsible for cooking lunch stops working at 11:00 am to prepare the meal.

For dinner, we often eat at Philippe's house because we always play 'Kuhhandel' there (I can highly recommend the game for those who don't have it in their collection yet).

We worked as usual on Christmas. On Christmas Eve, we heated the self-built Jacuzzi and enjoyed a hot bath after dinner. It was really fantastic.

Currently, I am in Lyon for New Year's Eve, but I will tell you more about it in the next post.
