The next morning we drove further north to the so-called Cathedral Cove, a rock formation known from movies like Narnia.
Next to this rock formation, there were many other beautiful bays and wonderful beaches, fortunately the weather was still great.
In the evening we went to Hot Water Beach, a beach where you can dig a hole and find warm water. But nobody told us that it's not easy to find the perfect hole. The temperature control turned out to be a bit difficult, as you had to mix the temperature between the ice-cold sea water and almost boiling hot springs.
The next morning we were motivated to go snorkeling in one of the bays. Unfortunately, the water was not very clear, so we didn't see much. After snorkeling, we continued to Coromandel Town and stayed at a campsite there.
