Bicycle tour day 38

"I'll be back" At least I'm currently with Uwe, still on low medication, but feeling sufficiently healthy. More now from Uwe.

Uwe:

The day started today, since it's the weekend, with a relatively late (8:00 am) breakfast. Although the first hotel guests got up at 4:30 am. They let a (judging by the noise) transporter run and then drove off. By the time I got going, the sun was already high enough in the sky. The first 10 km went along the Meuse on a sparsely traveled side road. Then continued on the road to Toul. There I briefly followed the Moselle bike path. However, part of the path had just been blocked off. Some "tour candidates" were arguing with the fence erectors, as their training route seemed to be blocked. One of them then led me around the barrier on his bike through the city and explained something to me about a "Grande Music Spectacle" or something. The last 10 km before Nancy were marked by two steep climbs in the blazing sun. On the other hand, the last 5 km into the city were all downhill.

Well, and then the surprise ... No, we met here again as planned (thanks to the chauffeur) and want to continue our tour together as originally planned.
