After it became obvious that the north doesn't like us very much and brought us 18°C and drizzle throughout the days, we decided to head back to the south. Next destination - 'Hann Münden'. Thanks to Beate and Volker, we were spared the bus from Bremerhaven to Bremen as they chauffeured us to Bremen and also contributed the Bremen pictures while we were already on the train to Hannover 😉😘. We found a seat with entertainment for the journey. The lady sitting opposite us even offered us snacks along with the family stories. Very nice. In Hannover, we could have rushed for the next train, but we decided to go for the fish sandwich and a 1-hour break. Unfortunately, the 1-hour break turned into 1:30 and it was clear that we won't be able to catch the connecting train in Göttingen.
Oh well... At least, we managed to get a seat on the train to Göttingen as well. We decided not to spend the waiting time at the stone-age looking platform in Göttingen, but on the really interesting forecourt with 'mini water games' instead.
Back on the platform, we found an unmarked train. We took a leap of faith and boarded it, only to realize that it was probably the right one.
That's how we arrived in Hann Münden and took the minibus to the youth hostel, which was romantically located far away from anywhere, as is typical for youth hostels. Since we were too tired from the journey, our dinner consisted of vending machine snacks, such as extremely healthy chips, flips, and cola...
