Inverness

We only made small trips from the vacation apartment. We went to the swimming pool in Inverness, which was slightly disappointing. We were only allowed in for a good hour and during that time the wave pool wasn't working and they also had problems with the slides. The swimming area was also not accessible, so everyone gathered in the somewhat small pool.

It was nicer at Loch Ness, where we went twice. With a lot of effort, I managed to get into the water the first time. The second time it was even colder and it took hours for all parts of my body to warm up again. But it was still beautiful, except for the ever-present dogs.

Monique also took a bike ride to visit a ford. She already knew it from a tour in 2020, where I said I could easily ride through it on a bike. I tried it with the car first, and it was already sliding enough. I would have definitely crashed if I had gone in with the bike.

Moritz probably liked the fact that there was also a Bubble Tea shop. Fortunately, Emil doesn't like that stuff.
